Markham,ON—April 21, 2005—Mounting a connector to a panel requires reliable sealing to IP65. The new design of the gaskets for the HARTING Han® B range of housings features a “cling” function combined with retention of the panel fixing screws (Patents applied for). These new characteristics reduce installation times providing cost benefits to the user.
Further improvements are increased resistance to UV rays, ozone and liquids.
Due to the philosophy of minimising the gasket surface area the build up of
deposits in the flange area, over time, are reduced.
