Markham,ON—April 21, 2005—Due to the migration of modern data processing techniques from the office to the industrial environment the need for industrialised connectivity is continuing to grow.
The extension of the HARTING Han® Modular range to include the new Han® USB and Han® FireWire modules enables secure connections to be made utilising the most common PC interfaces.
Both USB and FireWire modules have a similar design whereby the female part has a female connector on both the mating and wiring sides Termination is achieved by simply plugging a patch cable into the wiring side and securing it with a cable tie. The male part is simply a plastic receptacle to accommodate a male patch lead that can also be secured by a cable tie.
This system provides fast and easy data connections to the required degree
of protection in industrial environments.
