Rotary Inductive Sensor Detects 360 Degree Angles

Markham,ON—March, 2011—TURCK announces the availability of a new inductive analog sensor that provides a 360 degree angular measurement. The rotary inductive sensors utilize resistance inductive capacitance (RLC) measuring technology rather than a magnetic positioning element, resulting in a sensor that is completely immune to EMC interference.

TURCK's rotary inductive sensors are IP67 rated with a temperature range -40 to 70 °C, making the devices perfect for measuring the angle of solar panels, wind turbines, crane position, and other outdoor applications.
