TURCK AIM and JBBS Junction Boxes Now IP 69K

Markham,ON—May 15, 2007—TURCK announces that its line of Advanced I/O Modules (AIM) and metallic JBBS junction boxes are now rated for IP 69K environmental protection. Extensive testing by an independent environmental test lab proved that AIM and JBBS junction boxes can withstand hot steam jet cleaning per EN 60529 and DIN 40050-9. Now the AIM and metallic JBBS junction boxes can handle harsh environmental conditions without the need for secondary protection.

AIM and metallic JBBS junction boxes are rugged machine mountable distributed I/O and media devices with full connectorization and epoxy encapsulation. AIM and JBBS products are also IP 67 rated for protection against dust and temporary submersion in water. The products are also rated for NEMA 1, 3, 4 and 6 enclosure protection.
