Markham,ON—February 6, 2007—TURCK introduces new IP 67 rated power supplies to complement its extensive line of modular I/O systems. PSU67 power supplies incorporate features that reduce their size and eliminate the need for an enclosure, providing unparalleled functionality and quality.
To address the growing trend in the industrial automation marketplace, PSU67 power supply modules are designed for on-machine and factory fl oor installations. TURCK’s power supplies use a unique thermoselective vacuum encapsulation process that facilitates use in extremely harsh environmental conditions, including washdown applications. The potting material provides a self-extinguishing capability, and meets UL94-VO standards.
Future versions will include a dual output that provides two 24 Volt DC outputs,
allowing the user to double the output of anything that requires 24 Volts DC
to operate. The power supply module’s compact design also makes it 30 percent
smaller than the competition. The modules are UL, CE and CAN/CSA approved.
